Belts: Students must wear a belt with a belt buckle (if pants have belt loops) and belts must be waist length only.

Shirts: Dress shirt or polo style shirt with collar and sleeves (no more than a pocket sized logo on shirt). Must be long enough to cover midriff when arms extended over top of head. Shirts MUST be tucked into pants.

Undershirts: White undershirt only, cannot be longer than overshirt.

    • Clothing must be appropriately seized (not too tight or too loose). Clothing also may not have any designs, writing, or logos on them (with the exception of a pocket sized logo on shirt)

District Attendance/Truancy Policy

  • All students are expected to attend school regularly and to be on time for classes in order to benefit from the instructional program and to develop habits of punctuality, self-discipline, and responsibility. Failure for a student to arrive either to class or school on time will result in having them sent to Tardy Hall for the duration of that period before resuming their normal schedule. There is a reasonable presumption that a student can limit total absences to five (5) absences per nine-week marking period.  If a student exceeds 5 absences, the student may earn a passing grade by demonstrating mastery.  To demonstrate mastery, the student must receive a passing grade for the class and for the marking period assessment in order to pass each class.  In the event of a student’s absence, the parent should call the grade level student services office between the hours of 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. In order to receive an excused absence, a student must bring a written note from parents/guardians following the absence.  Notes are to be given to the grade level student services office.  The only absences that can be excused are:  student illness, medical appointment, death in the family, religious holidays, subpoena by law enforcement agency or mandatory court appearance, or other individual student absences beyond the control of parent or student, as determined and approved by the principal or the principal’s designee.  NOTE: Family vacations are not excused absences.
