Suncoast opened in 1989 as a college preparatory total magnet school located in a residential area of Riviera Beach. Suncoast offers a full range of extracurricular sports, clubs, and activities. Suncoast has no attendance boundaries; therefore every student must complete an application. Students may select from four exciting and rigorous magnet programs:· Computer Science (CS)

>>3.0 grade point average (GPA) in core academic subjects from previous year and first semester of current year.
>>Completed Algebra I Honors & Geometry Honors PRIOR to beginning the 9th Grade
>>3.0 grade point average (GPA) in mathematics

>>IB requires passing oral and written exams in courses in 6 academic areas , Theory of Knowledge course , 4000-word Extended Essay and Creativity, Action, Service (CAS) project to attain the IB Diploma
Eligibility requirements:

>>Completed Algebra 1
>>one year of high school French or Spanish highly recommended
Math, Science, and Engineering (MSE) - Accelerated curriculum emphasizing math, science and engineering - 4 year pre-university course of study
>>Entering grade 9
