The fifth grade has been integrating the arts into science, reading literacy and current events.  We created clay sculptures representing the book The Holes by Louis Sachar and expressing our personal messages with monument clay models.

                                                            We are reading about the importance of voting and we are creating our own unique mural to encourage people to make their voices heard and to VOTE.

We have learned all about force and simple machines and are drawing examples of common simple machines that we can easily find around our homes.
