Mission Statement:

    The H. L. Johnson School-age child care program is dedicated to providing quality child care administering to the developmental growth and needs of the school-age child in a safe, comfortable environment.

Our program has been in existence for sixteen years and has received several awards of excellence. We credit our success to our staff, school administration, faculty, parents and children working together to ensure quality child care to ensure quality child care and a safe environment.

Office Hours:

    11:30 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. Daily

Program Hours:

    Morning: 7:00 - 8:00 A.M.

    Afternoon: Half P.M. 2:00 - 4:00 P.M.

                       Full P.M. 2:00 - 6:00 P.M.

Registration:

    Registration forms are available in our enrichment office (room 408). Children must be registered on a five day/full week basis in either A.M. or P.M. or both.

    Registration Fee:

        $25.00 per family

Authorized Pickup:

    Children will be released only to persons listed on the registration form under "emergency and authorization for pickup." Proper picture identification must be shown. For the safety of each child, pickup is only allowed at our dismissal desk. Additions to list must be made in our office. If custody issue, custody order from a Florida court must be provided.

Program Tuition and Cost:

    A monthly tuition schedule is provided at the start of the school year. Program tuition is based on the total number of hours in each designated program per month, not on the number of hours or days your child attends the program. Tuition is due on the first school day of each month. Fees must be paid regardless of absence due to illness or vacations.

Activities Offered:

    Activities are diversified and instructed by our highly qualified staff at different levels of learning and fun. Some of the activities include: crafts, sports, outdoor and indoor games, clubs, movies, dance, academics, field day, drawing, painting, trivia, Nintendo, computers and game room.

Shows and Extravaganza:

    Our program presents two nighttime shows for parents, family and friends. It's a great opportunity for our "Stars to Shine."

Summer Camp, Spring Break and Holiday Camp:

    Camp Hours: 7:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M.

    Information and registration is available in our office. All fees include field trip, activities, lunch and snacks.

    There is a non-refundable registration fee for summer camp.

    Children must be five years old by September 1st of that year; limited to children enrolled in public school; or must follow all entry requirements for entering a public school.

    Junior Camp Counselors:

    12 - 14 year olds may attend camp at regular fee rate and assist counselors while enjoying field trips and planned activities at the same time.
