B2 Advertisement of the FY2012 Tentative District Budget
Description
Section 200.065, Florida Statues, requires each School Board to:
1. Advertise its intent to adopt a tentative budget and millage levy.
2. Hold a public hearing to adopt the tentative budget and proposed millage levy.

2. Notice of Tax for School Capital Outlay *
3. Budget Summary Notice *
* Please note: the Florida Department of Education will certify the Required Local Effort (RLE) millage rate by July 19, 2011. Actual advertisements will be posted to the agenda once this occurs.
Recommendation
I recommend the School Board approve the advertisements of the FY2012 tentative District summary budget and the appropriate tax notices in accordance with Florida Statute 200.065.

Financial Impact
The financial impact is estimated at $4,000.00 to advertise the district budget. The source funds is the Budget Department general fund operating budget.
