PM5 Lake Worth HS Project Modifications

Description

This Project Modification contains the following item:

 

§        Additional Architectural Services: in the amount of $3,225.00

§        Description: Provide General Contractor Bidding services in addition to the Construction Manager solicitations already performed.

§        Cause: School District Requested - District decided to bid the project in lieu of continuing with Construction Manager Services under a piggy back contract.

§        Justification: These services in addition to other procurement efforts resulted in significant overall project savings.



Recommendation

I recommend the School Board approve Project Modifications in the amount of $3,225.00  to Dow Howell Gilmore and Associates for Lake Worth High School Teachers Education Academy, Project #0691-8228, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to finalize and execute all related contract documents.

Financial Impact

The financial impact to the Project’s Budget is $3,225.00.

 

The source of funds is the project budget as approved by the Board at the time of the Construction Contract Award.
