FS-1 Pahokee High School Project Modification


This Project Modification includes the following item:

  • Change Order Proposal Request (COPR) #8 credit in the amount of $73,500.00.
  • Description:  Unused General Requirements and Contingency Project Funds in the Mills Gilbane contract not required for the contract completion.
  • Cause:  School District Requested
  • Justification:  Funds will be added to all or most of the available unencumbered overall Project Budget to be utilized for an essential Minor Capital Improvement Project to repair structural steel columns at Pahokee High School.  This agenda item is a companion to agenda Item FS-2 to revise the overall Project scope to fund the Minor Capital Improvement Project.


I recommend the School Board approve Project Modification in the credit amount of $73,500.00 to Gilbane Building Company d/b/a Mills Gilbane for Pahokee Educational Complex, High School Remodel Project #1771-8427, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to finalize and execute all related contract documents.

Financial Impact

The financial impact to the Mills Gilbane CM@Risk Agreement is a credit in the amount of $73,500.00.   Funds will be returned to the overall Project Budget.
