  3. Motions:
    I recommend the School Board approve the Financial Assistance Agreement between Palm Beach County and the School Board of Palm Beach County in the amount not to exceed One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) for West Boca Raton Community High School buffer landscaping on along Glades Road and authorize the Chair and Superintendent or their respective designee to sign all documents related to the Agreement which are required for implementation of the Agreement activities.  -PASS

    I recommend the School Board approve the award of an Agreement for Construction Management at Risk Services and Pre-Construction Phase fees in the amount of $169,075. to W.G. Mills, Inc. for Barton Elementary School Modernization, Project No. 0741-7501 and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all required documents.-PASS

    Only one bid was received, as allowed by law the district can negotiate with the sole bidder.  Best and Final price far exceeded the proposed budget.  Since a second group of projects is nearing completion for bid, staff will combine the new scope with the old and bid the work again.  The number of bidders will increase this time as we will add Annual GCs as well as the prequalified Walkway Cover vendors.-PASS

  15. Minutes: For the Record: At Mr. Graham's request, Mr. Moore announced that FEMA owes the District $16,000,000.


    Motions:
    I recommend the School Board approve the disbursement of up to $15 million from the Contingency Reserve to fund the emergency recovery from Hurricane Wilma.-PASS
