Staff members are:
- reading with students during 5th period class.
- seeking out recreational reading and professional literature
through media center and elsewhere.
- participating in "Pahokee Book Club" newsletter.
- submitting at least 1 student writing to be published
in newsletter.
- participating in a staff book club for professional pleasure
reading.
- supporting and understanding the need for and value of
a literacy culture in the school.
- modeling importance of reading by volunteering to be a
classroom quest reader.
