PTA
(Parent Teacher Association)
| The PTA members work together to provide each and every student an enhanced learning experience through individual classroom volunteers, arranging or providing for special events, or assisting with supplies for the classrooms and school. The PTA is comprised of dedicated individuals that enjoy making a difference and taking pride in J.C. Mitchell. We are a combined effort of parents and teachers with one goal - the students. |
SAC
(School Advisory Council)| The SAC is comprised of teachers, parents, members of the community, and administration. All meetings are open to the public. The SAC reviews reports, makes recommendations and is involved with how to improve the school academically. The SAC does not raise money, however they do make financial decisions that affect the students and teachers. These meetings are very informative and bring new insight to the workings of the school and how it benefits your child. |
| SACC is known commonly as the J.C. Mitchell after school program. Children attending must be students at J.C. Mitchell. SACC is not open on days that the school is closed. The SACC has been evolving over the years to meet the developmental needs of our students who attend. |
