Gove Elementary's Sixth Grade is a departmentalized program with subjects in Language Arts, Science, Mathematics, Language Arts in Spanish, and Social Studies in Spanish. It is structured in this manner with hopes of the students continuing to pursue a dual-language program after leaving the elementary environment. With the division of the subject areas, students are also being prepared for the middle-school structure that other students outside of the magnet school are receiving. Academic games and extra-curricular activities are also part of the program in sixth grade.
