At the end of September, Medical Academy students and teachers
worked with P.E. teachers and volunteers from Bethesda Hospital
to teach Hands Only CPR to 900 current freshmen.
The two day event gives students the basic tools to maybe
save a person's life.
Required Medical Courses Include:
1st year: Health Science Anatomy & Physiology
2nd Year: Health Science Foundations
Options for 3rd and 4th Years
Electrocardiograph Aide with Forensics
Emergency Medical Responder
Nursing Assistant with Allied Health
Medical Lab Assistant
Suggested Elective Courses Include:
Dual Enrollment for Medical Students
College credit offered by Palm Beach State College but students remain on our campus. Earn 3 or 6 hours college credit now at no cost.
(Students must pass PERT to qualify)
All medical courses count as honors credits
All students going on clinical assignments must give consent for a criminal background check and drug screening test.
Students will also need to get numerous medical exams and shots in addition to the regular school shots.
They also must provide their own transportation to clinical sites.

Students must be 16 or older to donate and have parent permission. All donations can save up to three people. One Blood donates money back to our students in scholarships.
