Special opportunity for students by the Charle E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University

The Health Professions Recruitment and Exposure Program (HPREP), is a nation-wide high school Saturday science enrichment program aimed at recruiting African-American, Native American, and Latino high school students into careers in the sciences and health professions. Under the mentorship of minority graduate and professional students, students who will be high school freshmen, sophomores and juniors for the 2017-2018 academic year will be introduced to various topics within medicine and the healthcare field. Each session is lead by a variety of medical school affiliates including professors, clinicians, professional students and administrators. This year’s program consists of 9 Saturday sessions (9:00am - 12:30pm) beginning on Saturday, January 13th, 2018.
